Our approximately 1,700 employees in 74 offices in 29 holiday destinations are the first local point of contact for four million holidaymakers each year. We competently and passionately assist travellers in all matters in the holiday destination and take care of reservations and transfers as well as organising excursions. The happiness and safety of our guests lie at the heart of everything our teams do. DER Touristik Group works around the world to the highest quality standards and is a reliable and trusting companion for travellers during the most wonderful time of the year.

In addition to looking after holiday guests, employees of our agencies in the destinations are in close contact with the hotels as well as local partners and manage hotel purchasing for the DER Touristik Group’s tour operators.

As part of our global DMC network, we also provide tailor-made group, themed, special and reading holidays alongside individually customised offers in our holiday destinations. What’s more, for our clients we organise professional incentives, meetings, conferences and events (MICE).
Our dedicated and multilingual on-site teams take care of every group or event with passion and attention to detail. With in-depth local knowledge and a strong network of professional partners, every group and every event from the idea to the implementation is competently supervised by and with us.
For tour operators, we perform other extensive organisational tasks such as hotel purchasing, reservation management, airport and cruise handling, yield management, contingency control, data management, invoice verification, direct and bed bank integrations as well as product development and implementation.

Sustainability is an essential part of our corporate philosophy. We take our responsibility towards people and nature in the holiday destinations very seriously, and advocate this as part of the DER Touristik Group sustainability programme “DER Welt verpflichtet” (Dedicated to DER World).
A good third of the DMC network is already a Travelife partner in 2022 and two DMCs have already been certified by Travelife and Blue Oasis. All other DMCs participate in Travelife’s program and are aiming for certification by 2024.
